THE POWER OF GRACE

GRACE

There is no greater power in the universe than the power of God’s love. Through love and grace, I overcome challenges in every area of my life. My heart is filled with thanksgiving because I know that God’s will for me is good and only good. I claim my good now. Even before I ask, God has already given. The more I realize that God has already given everything, the more I live in that place of grace and peace.

Today my life is transformed by the power of God’s grace.

LIVE AN ABUNDANT LIFE

YOU CAN LIVE A FULL AND ABUNDANT LIFE

Giving thanks for the abundance you already have is the perfect way to open up a channel for the Divine flow of gifts Spirit has in store for you.

Thank God for even small things that come your way. Every time you do, it opens that channel wider and wider so that good is now ready to come to you in magnificent ways. Take notice of what’s happening around you at this very moment. Consider how blessed you are.

Affirmation: Today I give thanks for the full and abundant life I am living right now.

HOW TO MAKE DECISIONS

DECISIONS

Click Here: http://www.gmanishor.com From Here to Serenity

Life is filled with times when we have to make decisions. We can choose a life that is meaningless and pointless or we can choose a life of greatness. Greatness doesn’t mean doing huge and sensational acts. It is not what we do, but how we do it. We can choose to do small things in great ways.

Before making even small decisions, always go to God for the answer. Don’t run around asking anyone and everyone what you should do. You already know the answer to your problem. The answer is always within. Ask God what your next move should be. Then listen. Listen for the “still small voice.” Listen and pay attention. Meditate and pray over it. Then release it and don’t worry about it.

Something within you will make the change from not being sure to knowing what move is right for you to make. You will feel the shift from doubt and indecision to knowing. You will know what to do, and there will be no doubt in your mind. In truth you already know. The God presence within you knows.
When you are in the midst of the situation and cannot come to peace with it, go to a counselor for help in coming to the right decision. If one counselor doesn’t help you, don’t give up, find the right counselor and he or she will help you come to your own right conclusion.
Affirmation: listen to my inner guidance and I know that God is guiding me to make the right decision.

PROBLEMS

Trust the ProcessPROBLEMS/CHALLENGES/PROJECTS

Instead of naming it a problem, which has a negative connotation to it, we can call it a challenge or a project. Life is filled with issues. It’s part of life. Difficulties or challenges seem to come when we least expect them. We sometimes ask “Why Me? Why Now? Haven’t I had enough problems for one lifetime?” When we go through the hard times, we can compare it to Jesus being forced to carry his own cross, or Moses wandering in the desert. We can look at these challenges as cleansing rituals. They purge us of our cosmic impurities and prepare us for a greater life. We are here to accomplish something, to learn and to grow spiritually. When challenges are thrust upon us, we can know that God has already given us all the strength, power and wisdom we need to get us through them and to come out of each crises stronger than we were before.

Know that when we’re in the dark, there is a reason for the darkness. We need that growing time. There is a perfect timing–God’s timing. I call it Divine Timing. While we’re waiting for the light to come, we are trusting, knowing the truth. Accept what is. As we accept what is, peace and joy are inevitable.

When we view the problem or challenge as a project, it give us a different perspective of the situation. If it’s a project, it means there’s a way to go about making the project have a successful outcome.
In a recent sermon Rev. Dr. Christian Sorenson said “A problem is an opportunity and not a roadblock. It is an opportunity in which we can use our self to create our dream.”

He also said, “When an obstacle comes up, “Don’t take your eye off the vision. Let them (obstacles) be a launching pad for your vision.”

Above all, stop giving energy to the negative, to the problem. Think on the solution instead. Be assured that your life will turn around.

Maya Angelou said, “He would not have carried me this far to let me down now.

Affirmation: I know that whatever happens, God means it for good, and I now place my trust in the Divine Presence. I have the strength and courage to go on. There is a brighter day ahead for me.

WORK & PLAY

           WORK

“Then a ploughman said, “Speak to us of Work.”

“When you work you are a flute through whose heart the whispering of the hours turns to music.
Which of you would be a reed, dumb and silent, when all else sings together in unison?”
The Prophet, Kahlil Gibran

May your work be something you love and give your all to. May your play be given as much time as your work. Let there be balance in your work and your play so that your life is filled with the music of joy. Everything in perfect balance, Spiritual, work, play, love. It is all good because it is all God.

CHILDREN

                       FREEDOM

“Your children are not your children, They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.”  Kahlil Gibran

If you’ve been reading my last few Blogs, you will probably realize that I am in love with the writings of Kahlil Gibran and have been reading and rereading The Prophet.

I have 4 children, a girl and 3 boys. They are grown now. Before I read Gibran I knew that it was necessary for me to release my children. Not release them from my heart, but release them from my advice. I have let them live their own lives. I have attempted to live the best life I could as an example, but not a perfect example. I’ve made many mistakes. But I did the best I could at the time. I am proud of and love  all of them deeply. Now in my later years. I see them. Each is different. Each is special to me. I am grateful that I’ve had them in my life. Like this hummingbird mother, I let them fly.

LOVE

SPEAK OF LOVE

“When love beckons you yield to him,
though his ways may be hard steep.” Kahlil Gibran

So many of us hold back from complete love. We lose so much by holding our love back. We protect ourselves from hurt sometimes at great loss. I’m not telling you to give your physical love at what could be a danger to you. If you have put up a wall around yourself for protection, break down that wall and let others see the wonderful you that you really are.

Listen to your intuition. What I’m saying is to “be love.” Let others see the real you and who you really are. Let them see  you as approachable.
