SPIRITUAL WISDOM

A Meditative Guide

Finding Strength and Courage

When life hands us a challenge, even a major one, we are never alone. We always have the Indwelling Spirit within us, and we are able to draw strength from It. Because of this Higher Power, we already have all of the courage and strength we need. It is always available to us.

“Heroes are not born, heroes are backed into corners.” said Wayne Dyer. Adversity forces us to become the courageous being we already are. When adversity raises its ugly head, it is time for us to step forward and deal with it. We are never too weak or too tired to handle what comes to us. Our Higher Power is our strength, and It is greater than any obstacle that might come our way. We find something in ourselves we didn’t know we had. In the most difficult times we find the greatest blessing. William Ward wrote “Adversity causes some men to break and some to break records.” Through adversity we build up our strength and discover the God within each of us.

God is our Source, our strength and courage in difficult times. Pray, knowing that your prayers are already answered. Believe with a deep faith knowing you will receive.

We have all the tools we need to deal with any situation we may find ourselves in. Through all difficulties we are capable of handling whatever comes our way. In this process we must allow ourselves to unfold so that we don’t unravel. We take what comes and do the best we can with it. We can do no more.

Although it may not seem like it in the beginning the greatest blessings come from the challenges in our lives.
